Product Description
Inside the melting tank an ordinary clear batch is transformed: cobalt produces blues, copper produces greens and turquoises, selenium and gold produce reds and pinks, and iron combined with sulfur produces amber. Because the color lives in the glass itself, sheets hold their saturation through decades of sunlight - the reason twelfth-century windows still glow today.
Four groups organize the range: opalescent glass, milky and semi-opaque and ideal for Tiffany figur work; cathedral glass, transparent with a subtle surface ripple; textured finishes such as granite, ripple and water-glass; and iridescent coatings that catch highlights on lampshades. At around 600 x 900 mm and 2-3 mm thick, the sheets score, groze and foil cleanly on standard hobby tools.
Send your cartoon or a reference photo and we return a cut list with grain direction matched sheet to sheet, keeping large panels texturally continuous. Assemble in your own workshop on our foiling-ready edges, or take delivery of leaded panels ready to glaze. Orders ship flat with interleaved paper and corner protection inside seaworthy wooden crates.

Mouth-Blown & Rolled Colored Glass Lines
Metal oxides are added to the molten batch to create through-body color, then the glass is mouth-blown into flat sheets or rolled with textured rollers for cathedral, granito, ripple and water-glass surfaces. Sheets are annealed slowly, inspected for color consistency and grain, and cut to stock sizes of about 600 × 900 mm.
