Acid etched decoration gives glass a silky, fingerprint-resistant matte finish that diffuses light beautifully: full-etch privacy panels, gradient etching from clear to opaque, and etched patterns or logos that stay smooth to the touch and easy to keep clean.
Solution Overview
Unlike sandblasting, acid etching produces an ultra-fine, uniform surface that does not show fingerprints and does not trap grime — the reason it dominates office partitions, shower screens and wardrobe doors. Graduated etching can fade from fully private at seated eye level to fully clear at the top of a partition, keeping light while killing sightlines.
The finish is applied before tempering, so it becomes permanent and survives daily cleaning. Combine etched bands with clear vision lines, add a logo etched at head height in reception doors, or pair the matte face with a colored back-paint for a soft deep color that glossy paint cannot match.
