Two or more glass layers, each tempered in advance, are laminated with more PVB layers than normal laminated glass receives. The build therefore merges the high strength and shock resistance of tempered glass with the shatterlessness of laminated glass.
Sudden strong shock or sustained high pressure in high-safety locations, such as glass floors, glass roofs, guard rails, aquariums and elevator glazing, is exactly what it is built for. Design freedom comes from colored PVB options, and adding further layers produces bullet-resistant build-ups.
AUGTON GLASS produces custom make-ups with glass from 3mm to 19mm and PVB multiples of 0.76mm, in sizes up to 3660x18000mm, exported factory-direct worldwide.

Advanced Automatic Production Workshop
Our tempered laminated glass is produced on full-set tempering furnaces followed by clean room lamination and autoclave curing. Pre-tempering each lite guarantees strength, while digital autoclave control ensures bubble-free, optically clear bonding of the PVB layers.
Standard Export Wooden Crate Packaging
Tempered laminated glass sheets are separated by anti-scratch film and soft interlayers, then packed into ISPM15 heat-treated solid wooden crates with rainproof plastic wrapping and reinforced steel strapping.
