Product Description
Low iron glass — also called ultra clear glass or extra clear glass — runs on advanced float lines equipped with CNUD-EFCO annealing lehrs and Grenzebach light-collection inspection systems. It is melted from premium low-iron raw materials with high-efficiency clean natural gas as fuel, and its product quality has reached the top international level.
With iron content held below 0.01%, the glass achieves visible light transmittance above 91.5%. It appears sparkling and translucent, elegant and graceful, and shows none of the green tint of ordinary clear glass. Low iron glass also retains all the processable performances of high quality float glass, such as predominant physical, mechanical and optical characters.
AUGTON GLASS melts and forms low iron glass in its own plant and exports it worldwide, with flexible size specifications available for display, storefront and architectural projects.

How is the glass packed for export shipping?
All glass sheets are separated by anti-scratch PE film, then packed into ISPM15 heat-treated solid wooden crates. We use rainproof plastic wrapping and reinforced steel strapping to fix the stacks firmly, effectively avoiding breakage during long-distance sea and land transportation. Forklift loading and container stuffing are available for bulk orders.
