Also known as: Glass Shelves, Glass Table Tops
Glass table tops and shelving bring lightness to furniture: clear, tinted, painted or etched tempered glass cut to any shape — round, oval, racetrack or freeform — with flat-polished or beveled edges and optional radius corners for safety at home.
Solution Overview
Thickness runs from 6 mm for overlay tops that protect a wooden table, to 10–12 mm for free-standing dining tables and 15–19 mm for heavy statement tops. All tops are tempered after cutting and edge work, so they carry thermal shock and impact far better than annealed glass — and break safely into granules if ever overloaded.
Choose flat polish for a modern square edge, bevels from 10 to 30 mm to catch the light, or a pencil edge for softness. Painted tops in any color hide frames and fixings; etched and grooved patterns give grip and visual texture. We pack every top in corner-protected, foam-lined crates rated for export.
For display and household loads, 6 mm tempered shelves span 300–400 mm between supports; 8–10 mm carries books and heavy stock at 600 mm spans. In shops and museums, low-iron glass keeps the shelf edge green-free so products show their true colors, while LED edge lighting turns the whole shelf into a light bar.
Shelves for humid areas — bathrooms and refrigerated displays — can be supplied with sealed cut-outs for support pins and with an anti-slip frit band. Radius corners, notches around services and shaped ends are all machined to your measurements, packed with edge and corner protection.
